Without the right tools for any job you will waste time and money. But with so many internet marketing tools out there it can be difficult to know what is right for your business. Fact is, it would be impossible for me to list all the tools that might be helpful to you.. But, I do have a few favorites worth mentioning. Here are just a few...
Recommended ClickBank Tools:
ClickBank is an Information Product and Affiliate Marketplace.
If you are online now searching for ways to make money, chances are you found a long page sales letter telling you that you could make money online making money with ClickBank. Chances are that was a clickbank product, and the owner of the product was telling the truth, after all, he (or she) probably makes sales on Clickbank- perhaps you even bought the product yourself. Niche Blueprint 2.0 is an example of a great product on Clickbank that will in part teach you how to make money on ClickBank. I don't own this product. I do have Niche Blueprint 1.0 and learned a lot from it about marketing online and on Clickbank. Did I make a lot from it, no.But I bet Steve did. (Steve is the dude in the video on the Niche Blueprint 2.0)
If you are new to the Internet Marketing space, I will tell you Clickbank is one of the easiest places to start. Easy in several ways:
Easy
in there is a huge variety of niches to promote, not just the IM (Internet Marketing AKA make money online teaching people how to make money online) niche.
Easy in that almost any method of driving traffic is valid so there are very few No-No's that could get you kicked out of there Affiliate Program unlike say the eBay Partner Network....
Easy in that ClickBank is not going anywhere. If you make sales, you will get paid. Period.
Easy in that it is not too technical, you don't even need a website, just create an account, get a link, and go.
Ok, so if it's so easy, is it really the promise land of IM?
I didn't find it to be so. In fact, back in 2009 when I was studying the original Niche Blueprint Steve (from the video) commented on the fact that in the good ol' days most of his new niches were profitable with clickbank, but now only about 1/5 maybe turned out to be profitable, and that was only after he optimized and did some serous conversion tracking...
Also, keep in mind that you are competing with some of the world's best Internet Marketers with years of Experience, as well as all the other people who have been turned onto Clickbank and are taking action to try to create their online fortunes.
All that said, ClickBank is a great place to start and some people do make a killing at it. So here are a few tools to get you started:
For analyzing the various products and niches:
ClickBank Analysis Tools:
- CB-Analytics is a good basic and free option.
- CB Engine is also good and has a free and pro version.
- CB Spy, I have never used it, but it may be worth checking out.
- Keyword Spy is far and away better than anything else I have looked at. Even the free version will give you so much usable information that you can and will make (or save) a fortune. For example. I was last year I was promoting a popular ClickBank product earth4enrgy.com and saw the huge gravity this site was getting. But, using Keyword Spy (click to see the actual search results) I was able to see that while there were a LOT o people promoting this site, very few did so for long. I realized then it was time for me to cut and run before loosing any more money promoting this product.
The Belcher Button.
If you are up on your interment marketing gurus and have look at even a few ClickBank products chances are you will have seen a variation on this high converting "Buy Now" button. This graphic comes from Perry Belcher who is generally considered a dirt bag and a recent felon. But, his tested "Add To Cart" button could, and apparently has sold oregano as a miracle cure. At BelcherButton.com Perry has a site and explains why this Button works so well.

#2 Yousendit.com.
You know the problem- you want to send your webmaster or maybe just a friend a big video or image file. So, you try to email it and it won't go because of the size. Next, you might try to reduce the size or quality, or break it up into multiple emails up. Maybe that works, or, you decide to just burn it to a CD and snail mail it to the person. What a pain! But, that is no longer necessary. Instead, just email it with yousendit.com. 3 reasons I like it. 1- It's quick. 2- It's free. 3- You can send files up to 100MB. (Paid accounts get additional sizes and features.)
#3 ClickTale.
