Jeff Walker, AKA MR. Product Launch Formula, advocates giving away all the best stuff in the course away for free anyway. If you really want to see how the game works for these guys, just study that.
And you better believe this is a Jeff Walker Style Product Launch. And, since you are now on Mike's List, and he will partner with all the big boys- but not you- you are going to get a LOT of offers and lots of free content. Because you and I my friends, are consumers in one of the best, most lucrative (for them) "niches" of all: How to get rich (online).
So don't buy it. Just get and study the free stuff they give you. Heck they make more of it every day. And a lot of the work is outsourced to India or the Philippines anyways making it really cheap and affordable for them to churn up new content to dice into "FREE" and paid version every few days...

I got an email from someone thanking me for the honesty of this post, and asking for recommendations. I gave 2. The first was any kind of productivity training program by Eben Pagan (No affiliate link, just go find a torrent or something.), and the second was a book: Landing Page Optimization: The Definitive Guide to Testing and Tuning for Conversions
Now, I am still going to drop an affiliate link in front of you. But not for any gurus course. But, it is for a tool I use to look at the amount of $ in a niche. It offers more transparency for seeing exactly how much money is in a market than you are going to find anywhere else. It is called Terapeak.

What does eBay have to do with Side Door selection when looking for an Affiliate Niche?
Simple- see how much total dollars are in a niche and by using the keyword function and you can deduce exactly what markets, products and keywords bring in the money.
And, because it's bases in actual real sales of products, and not some made up "formula", it's based on facts you can analyze for yourself, not opinions and secret formulas from the Gurus.

Hey Travis, you’re right on the button here man and I totally agree with everything you say.
Ryan Deiss has just done the same thing this month with JW’s PLF when he brought out PTF. What pissed me off was Ryan getting his comments on his WP page via people’s Facebook accounts, and it pulling up their photos at the same time. Pretty naughty I thought. I wonder if JW or Ryan’s programmers thought of that one but either way Mike and Chris are doing the exact same darn thing! Soon people will be commenting just cos they know their facebook photo will come up!
I thought the content of this first video was very basic anyway. Calling it Affiliate Marketing 2.0 is like they’re trying to get credit for re-labelling how we’ve all shifted with the crowd to what works better.
And this Side Door Selection wording is just a fancy new word for finding a sub niche within a major niche isn’t it?!
Notice how they’ve tweaked your cookies too so that not even the original promo link you got works now so when you re-click through to see what the titles of vids 2,3 and 4 were they don’t show up. Hmm, you’re about as cynical as me. lol.
…Makes me wonder too if this is what Mike ‘retired’ for at Xmas 09 because this is what he wanted to do …or is he just helping Chris launch this and building his list further.
According to JVnotifypro they’re gona drag this ass out till 24th Aug too. Then we’ll get 5 days hitting off every guru whilst it’s on. Strewth! lol. (I just watch the marketing
Question: Is it FREE valueable content if affiliates already know that this is what’s really already happening in the marketplace? And is it 2.0 just because some big lister re-names it?!

Fantastic post! I’ve been watching this for many years now. The super powerful make a gazillion dollar launches. It’s all a bunch of crap. If you follow a few sound principles and stay focused, it’s not that hard to make money online. But the gurus want you to think otherwise, so they continually sell the rehashed garbage to the unsuspecting. They are the ones that’s overloading everyone with the same old rehashed information. It confuses people and that’s exactly what they want, so you can keep buying their crap.
Actually what they’re teaching in the first video is simply not new for those paying attention. I’ve been doing that for a VERY long time. I didn’t build a HUGE list overnight, but I did get there. There are no overnight riches, so people please pay attention.
Lastly, even if I was a so-called guru with 5000 on my list, with the statement I saw above, I wouldn’t promote it if my life depeneded on it. Again, I love your post!
