Maxivista Virtual KVM Switch.
I have to admit this. I have NO idea how this program works. But, I love it!
If you are not sure what I "KVM" is, it stands for Keyboard, Video , Mouse.
There are 2 scenarios when this program will be a real lifesaver.
The first is if you are trying to juggle information between 2 computers, say your main computer and your laptop. Normally, even if both these computers are right next to each other you may need to take some create steps to move files. Like transfer from the computer to a zip drive, then transfer to the next computer. Or Email the file from one computer to the other. We have all been there. It's annoying. With Maxivista Pro, it's as simple as copy and past.
The second thing this is great for is using a laptop as a second monitor... Or 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. Once I went to a 2 monitor setup I never wanted to go back. Now, with my laptop. Whenever my duals feel a little to "cramped" I pull out the old monitor and instantly add in a free display. How great is that!!!
